[aspectj-users] Restore AJDT 1.2.0 installation

Hi,

I've installed AJDT 1.2.0M1 and would like to restore to the previous
version (1.2.0).
Is there a way to do this?

Hello,
The manual way is as follows.

First. Close all windows in the current workspace and then exit Eclipse.
(Important step !)

Then delete all ajdt entries under your eclipse installation at:

<intallpath>\eclipse\plugins

this means all the the directories prefixed with: org.eclipse.ajdt*
(* is wildcard)
and the directory starting with the name: org.aspectj.ajde*

I also delete the ajdt directory under the features directory:
<intallpath>\eclipse\features

org.eclipse.aspectj*

You may now install any previous / later version of AJDT.

Hi. Actually, if you use Eclipse 3.0, you can just use the "Manage
Configuration" menuitem to literally plug plugins in and out. Your old
plugin should still be there, so you just have to switch it.
